"The Cottage" Bed and Breakfast

Andy and Penny Ilsley extend a warm welcome in offering unique bed and breakfast accommodation in the grounds of their grade II-listed 450 year old Tudor cottage situated in the picturesque and historic Warwickshire town of Kenilworth.

Location - "The Cottage" lies in the heart of "old" Kenilworth, 400 hundred yards from the famous castle (which once hosted Elizabeth I) and across the road from the magnificent Abbey Fields.

Kenilworth is an excellent base from which to explore the local area. The town is situated at the very heart of England - within a short drive are the towns of Royal Leamington Spa, Warwick, and the birthplace of William Shakespeare at Stratford-on-Avon. Also nearby are the cities of Birmingham (England's second city) and Coventry (home to the world famous cathedral and birthplace of the car industry), the National Agricultural Centre at Stoneleigh and the National Exhibition Centre.

Within walking distance you will find many excellent pubs and eating houses.

Accommodation - The accommodation is a self-contained chalet in a peaceful location at the end of the long and winding garden of The Cottage, out of sight of the main house, and with its own discreet garden. The distant ringing of church bells can be heard on occasions.

Facilities include one double room with en suite shower and a second room with a double futon style bed and a shower room. An additional bed can be put into the lounge area if required. Kitchen and lounge/dining area with colour TV and video, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities and use of ironing board and hair dryer. Towels and bed linen provided.

Continental breakfast is served and includes choice of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, organic bread and croissants, a selection of teas and freshly ground coffee.

The chalet is tastefully decorated with fresh flowers and greenery from the garden If the weather is fine, join us for tea and cakes in the garden on arrival.

Prices:-
Double with en-suite is £62.00 per night.
Futon Style Double £52.00 per night (usually let as the second room).
Single rooms from £32.00.
The minimum charge for a single let of the whole chalet is £45.00 per night.
Extra bed may be added at £15 per night.
Special rates available for children on request.
All prices are inclusive of continental breakfast.
Travel cot and baby changing facilities available on request for no extra charge.

This B&B has a NO SMOKING and NO PETS ALLOWED policy.

In order to reserve accommodation in advance, we would require a non-returnable deposit of £10 per person.
